All school children in the age group of 6 and 11 years are eligible to participate in the UAE Children's Painting Competition 2008. Participation in this competition is absolutely free. Over a 100,000 children from over 700 public and private schools across the UAE will take part in the contest this year.

Children with special needs can also participate in the competition. Age for them is no restriction.
